Job summary

The Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator Intern in New York, NY. The role supports the Facilities Planning, Construction & Management team by ensuring fleet cars remain in top condition and coordinating maintenance and cleaning.

Responsibilities include reporting to the Fleet Coordinator, coordinating drop-offs and pickups, and participating in driving duties around NYC’s busy traffic.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a CUNY school, working towards a degree.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications, is preferred.
• Excellent writing, interpersonal, customer service and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Fleet Maintenance Coordinator Intern to ensure safety, reliability, and longevity of fleet vehicles.
• Coordinate vehicle drop-off and retrieval from garage repair shop and car wash.
• Report to Fleet Coordinator and monitor condition of each fleet car.
• Drive fleet vehicles for trips to garages and car washes in NYC.
