Job summary

The City University of New York is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to oversee campus vehicle activities and ensure fleet maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance across the FPCM division.

You will coordinate with hub directors, supervise fleet staff as needed, schedule maintenance, track usage data, and prepare reports to identify cost-saving improvements. Requires NY driver’s license and five years of admin fleet experience.

Qualifications

• All candidates must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• A driver’s license valid in the State of New York.

Responsibilities

• Oversee campus vehicle activities to ensure policy compliance and proper maintenance.
• Procure owned and leased vehicles and assign to staff.
• Schedule preventative maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain vehicle usage records and generate reports.
• Ensure safe driving practices and administer driver orientation.
• Travel to university facilities, vendors, and auto shops.
