Beaufort County seeks a Fleet Services intake and workflow coordinator to manage maintenance requests from initial intake to completion. You will create and maintain Fleet work orders, schedule services, track asset status, and coordinate vendors and loaner assets, while providing customer-service support to county departments.

Qualifications

• Requires high school graduation or GED.
• 2+ years in fleet, automotive, heavy-equipment, transit, public works, or similar service environment.
• Experience with work-order entry, service scheduling, parts/service coordination, customer communication, or repair-status tracking.

Responsabilités

• Receive maintenance requests and conduct initial intake inspections with asset details.
• Create accurate fleet work orders and assign service tasks and departments.
• Develop preventive-maintenance schedules and track overdue services.
• Coordinate unplanned repairs, breakdowns, and towing with leadership.
• Track work from check-in to return to service and provide status updates.
