You will support budgeting, reporting, vendor evaluation, and performance tracking to ensure maintenance teams stay within targets.

The role requires leading cost-control efforts across multiple locations, reviewing invoices, and collaborating with supervisors and regional managers to reinforce best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cost management, financial analysis, or related ops finance role.
• Strong cost-control, budgeting, and variance analysis experience.
• Knowledge of trucking/transportation cost drivers preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams and work across sites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage fleet maintenance costs across trucks and trailers.
• Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities by region and shop.
• Provide budget performance tracking and variance analysis with recommendations.
• Evaluate repair costs and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards for cost performance.
• Collaborate with supervisors and regional managers on cost controls.
• Review invoices, pricing, and contract compliance; support vendor negotiations.
• Lead cost-efficiency initiatives and maintain fleet financial records.
