Job summary

C& S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance department on their shift, manage preventive and corrective maintenance, and drive continuous improvements in safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with DOT and safety standards, coordinating with vendors, developing equipment specifications, and monitoring KPI metrics to meet financial goals. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Heavy Truck and Diesel is required.
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics is preferred.
Five years of fleet maintenance experience with CDL A license.
Two years of supervisory/management experience.
Certifications/licenses such as Federal 608, 609 and brake inspections are preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee and ensure corrective maintenance is performed to compliance standards.
Monitor safety, housekeeping, and relationship with vendors for maintenance activities.
Assist in equipment specifications and approved software or purchases.
Administer labor contracts and participate in discipline processes.
Ensure DOT compliance and manage safety-related paperwork and meetings.
Track KPI metrics and adjust to meet financial goals.
Staffing, training, performance management and career development.
