Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. in Boise, Idaho, is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance programs. You will lead a team of technicians, ensure safe and compliant operations, and drive cost efficiencies across the fleet.

Responsibilities include planning preventive maintenance, directing shop performance, and reporting on fleet costs. The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of diesel engines, and commitment to safety

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 5–8 years of fleet maintenance experience and supervisory exposure.
• Technical degree in diesel engine / heavy equipment repair preferred; management experience is a plus.
• Certification such as ASE T Master and CAFM certifications are preferred; CDL is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee preventive maintenance and repair programs for all company vehicles.
• Monitor shop performance and redirect activities to ensure safe, efficient, timely work.
• Ensure all jobs meet quality standards and hold staff accountable.
• Prepare estimates and work orders; report on shop performance, fleet costs, and process improvements.
• Review scope of work for major procurements related to fleet maintenance.
• Conduct life cycle cost and trend analyses on vehicle performance and expenses.
• Support warranty and policy programs for expense recovery.
• Act as direct contact for customers and coordinate with management on schedules.
• Develop and implement SOPs for vehicle maintenance using best practices.
• Coordinate with shop supervisor to manage inventory and ensure timely completion of work orders.
