Job summary

Nutrition 101 LLC in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to orchestrate day-to-day fleet repairs, preventive maintenance, and downtime minimization. You will coordinate repairs with drivers, vendors, dispatch, and operations, manage work orders in CMMS, and monitor costs and uptime under the Fleet Maintenance Manager.

The role requires 3–5 years in fleet maintenance coordination, knowledge of CMMS, and MS Office; travel up to 25% is expected; on-site work ethic and strong

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in fleet maintenance coordination or related field.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs for Class A tractors, trailers, and tankers.
• Experience using CMMS to schedule repairs and track history.
• Ability to review Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) and coordinate corrective actions.
• Familiarity with FMCSA, DOT, and OSHA regulations for fleet maintenance.
• Understanding of diesel engines, trailer systems, and reefer equipment.
• Experience coordinating external vendors and internal technicians.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Travel up to 25%
• Hands-on diesel technician or maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and maintain the company vision, values, and policies.
• Lead by example in policy adherence and safety procedures.
• Attend meetings and trainings; train others as needed.
• Work with Fleet Maintenance Manager and Fleet Manager.
• Serve as primary contact for maintenance within the region.
• Coordinate repairs, PM services, inspections, and vendor work.
• Open, manage, and close work orders in CMMS.
• Monitor equipment status and update Operations and Dispatch.
• Track downtime and maintenance costs; maximize uptime.
• Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Review DVIRs and route defects for action.
• Coordinate parts ordering and availability for scheduled repairs.
• Maintain maintenance histories, registrations, and equipment files.
• Ensure PM schedules are maintained and services completed on time.
• Prepare weekly maintenance activity reports.
