Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Specialized coursework in general office practices such as typing, filing, accounting.
• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Texas Driver's License required.
• Any equivalent combination of related education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clerical duties of the Fleet Maintenance Department.
• Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules.
• Assist with budget, capital improvements, and capital outlay planning.
• Serve as liaison with Finance and Public Works.
• Manage office forms and procedures and document administrative tasks.
• Input work orders into computer system for invoicing daily.
• Order parts and maintain internal parts inventory.
• Prepare monthly maintenance schedules and vehicle inspections.
• Generate monthly reports for Finance and City Departments.
• Regular attendance and punctuality as essential requirements.
