Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) Systems Engineer to provide technical support to the U.S. Navy Surface Fleet.

The role focuses on lifecycle management, maintenance planning, and deployment of advisory actions across multiple ship classes. The position requires active DoW Secret clearance, a relevant engineering degree or equivalent Naval experience, and the ability to collaborate with Navy stakeholders and a broad network of Serco SMEs to ensure sailor safety and

Qualifications

• Active DoW Secret security clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years’ Naval shipboard engineering experience or a High School Diploma with 4 years’ Naval shipboard experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for U.S. Navy Surface Ship HM&E systems and safety.
• Analyze equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop technical documentation and advisory messages for fleet readiness.
• Coordinate with Navy and contractor stakeholders to resolve HM&E system issues.
• Prepare briefings, dashboards, and readiness tracking products.
