Job summary

Altorfer Inc. is seeking a coordinator to support sales management, sales reps, and customers with daily requests and equipment requirements. You will become an expert on products to provide the needed expertise for Altorfer sales teams.

The role involves coordinating orders, shipments, invoicing, and DBSi reporting, with strong emphasis on organization, negotiation, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Background in Construction or Agriculture equipment preferred.
• Military and veterans encouraged to apply.
• Experience with DBSi system or willingness to learn DBSi.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of a machine sale, from order to shipment and invoicing.
• Place all orders for stock inventory, tools, or new business in the Cat product group.
• Report sales activity to Caterpillar through DBSi for product grouping.
• Locate and/or transfer machinery between Cat dealers to fulfill a sale.
• Develop good relationships with Caterpillar dealers, personnel, and suppliers.
• Communicate shipping instructions to the Central Transportation Manager to meet customer specs.
• Set up demonstrations and loaners for sales reps and follow up on adherence to policy.
• Request PDI’s from Service for extra work per customer specs.
• Keep sales team informed of product problems and delivery issues.
• Enter received equipment and reconcile DBSi within 24 hours of paperwork.
