Qualifications

• 2-4 years of dispatch or logistics coordination experience in a transportation or industrial environment.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with fleet scheduling, route optimization, and load planning.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily assignment of drivers and truck fleet through dispatch, route, and equipment utilization planning.
• Maintain situational awareness of the logistics landscape and support operations as needed.
• Provide effective leadership and resolve conflicts among drivers, customers, carriers, and leadership.
• Provide exceptional customer service through proactive and timely communication.
• Monitor carrier performance and ensure compliance with company standards and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve transportation efficiency and freight spend management.
