Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Supervisor, Operation to lead daily dispatch operations for the Pilot Team, ensuring on-time deliveries and high customer service levels. You will coordinate routes, schedule drivers, and monitor performance while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in transportation/logistics with 2+ years in a leadership position, and proficiency with TMS and Excel in a fast-paced environment. On-site work with potential after-hours support.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's or equivalent in logistics, transportation, supply chain or business preferred.
3–5 years of transportation, dispatch or logistics experience.
2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage daily dispatch activities for all delivery routes and linehaul movements.
Coordinate driver assignments, route planning, and equipment utilization.
Monitor delivery progress and address service disruptions.
Communicate pickup and delivery schedules and maintain records.
Lead and coach dispatch personnel and drivers to meet performance targets.
Ensure safety, compliance, and adherence to DOT regulations.
Collaborate with warehouse, transportation, customer service and leadership teams.
