Quantix SCS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Dispatcher in Joliet, Illinois to oversee a fleet of truck drivers, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires proactive problem solving, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities include assigning routes, communicating with drivers, monitoring deliveries, maintaining logs, and coordinating maintenance.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of dispatching experience.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Assign and schedule drivers to routes based on delivery requirements and driver availability.
• Communicate with drivers to provide instructions and updates throughout the day.
• Monitor and track the progress of deliveries, addressing issues or delays.
• Maintain records of driver logs, delivery times, and route details.
• Collaborate with customer service to address delivery inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with safety and DOT regulations.
• Analyze and optimize route efficiency to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Analyze and improve fleet performance metrics to enhance efficiency.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings and training.
• Address and resolve HOS or safety-related issues promptly.
• Provide support in emergencies or unforeseen situations.

Educación

High School Diploma or GED

Associate Degree in Logistics
