Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Logistics Coordinator to manage dispatch operations from a virtual environment. You will oversee assignment and tracking of delivery vehicles, optimize routes, and maintain clear communication with drivers, clients, and operations teams.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, multitasking, and a solid understanding of transport logistics and dispatch software in a fully remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Remotely manage and coordinate dispatch of a fleet across territories.
• Use dispatch software to monitor driver progress and track vehicle locations in real time.
• Assign routes based on efficiency, priority, and capacity.
• Communicate with drivers via phone, radio, or messaging for updates and support.
• Serve as primary contact for clients regarding delivery status and issues.
• Identify delays and implement contingency plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of dispatched orders and incidents.
• Collaborate with warehouse/operations managers to ensure smooth flow of goods.
• Analyze route performance for optimization and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and SLAs.
