Ferguson Enterprises is seeking a Dispatch Manager to lead a team of hourly staff on a 6AM–3PM schedule. The role focuses on directing transportation and distribution activities to ensure safe, on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

You will manage fleet personnel, develop routes, monitor costs, and maintain regulatory compliance while coordinating with drivers and customers to address changes and delivery status.

Qualifications

• 3 years prior experience in shipping, dispatching, or other operational roles.
• Experience managing a team of 10+ employees.
• Routing software experience is required.
• Proficient with all Microsoft applications.
• Ability to prioritize workload to balance multiple demands and meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop fleet associates, dispatchers, and drivers.
• Develops schedules, methods and routes; analyzes costs; coordinates customs clearances and permits.
• Plan and direct transport and distribution activities to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Communicate with drivers, sales associates and customers daily on issues and delivery status.
• Maintain truck and route files for DOT and IFTA compliance; ensure regulatory adherence.
• Track and coordinate truck maintenance.
