Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Dispatcher for our Sacramento office to handle inbound requests, assign technicians, and coordinate parts and service so that fleets stay road-ready. This on-site role requires accurate data entry, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include intake, prioritization, real-time tracking, and shift handoffs, with a compensation range of $23–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of dispatch, service coordination, or high-volume customer service experience.
• Dispatcher experience in mobile repair, roadside, towing, or trucking preferred.
• Clear, calm phone presence, including with stressed callers.
• Ability to manage multiple service requests and re-prioritize quickly.
• Ownership of outstanding tasks with timely escalation when needed.
• Willingness to participate in training and cross-training.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and dispatch systems; quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Handle service intake from fleet customers, drivers, and brokers.
• Triage requests by urgency and set clear expectations with customers.
• Assign work based on technician availability and capacity.
• Track technicians in real time and re-route as priorities change.
• Coordinate parts with the parts team and vendors.
• Prepare clear shift handoffs and follow up on open issues.
• Create and maintain accurate work orders in FleetIQ and other systems.
• Ensure accuracy of notes, labor, and parts for invoicing.
