Job summary

Waste Pro USA is seeking an experienced A Technician to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension and electrical systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks used in waste and recycling operations. Work may involve gasoline, diesel and CNG systems, and may include welding and fabrication.

Responsibilities include diagnosing a fleet of refuse vehicles, repairing Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil and McNeilus equipment, and maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with OSHA and

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair drive trains, engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical/hydraulic/body systems.
• Diagnose and repair Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure safe operation and compliance with OSHA standards.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Utilize vehicle computer electronics to identify failure modes.

Responsibilities

• Report to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Diagnostics for a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles.
• Maintain and repair vehicles and equipment listed in qualifications.
• Support coworkers to maintain safe, efficient operations.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
