Job summary

Waste Pro USA in Ohio is seeking an A Technician to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, and electrical systems on heavy and light duty trucks. You may handle welding, fabrication, and more. Work involves vehicle electronics diagnostics and safety checks across a refuse/recycling fleet.

Responsibilities include maintaining high safety standards, guiding shop staff, and documenting all work. CDL B and ASE certs are preferred; OSHA safety knowledge is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to diagnose and repair drive trains, engines, transmissions, and related systems.
• Experience with diesel, gasoline or CNG systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements for vehicle fleets.
• Ability to train and guide shop technicians and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics on a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles.
• Maintenance and repair of Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus vehicles.
• Support coworkers to maintain safe, efficient operations.
• Complete paperwork in a timely, concise manner.
• Follow all safety policies and keep a clean, compliant work area.
• Perform safety checks and interpret fault codes from vehicle electronics.
• Utilize Factory Service Manuals for repairs.
