Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking an experienced technician to diagnose and repair a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles, including heavy and light duty trucks. You will work on Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, and McNeilus equipment, performing inspections, repairs, and safety checks while following Factory Service Manuals.

The role requires hands-on experience with diesel/gas/CNG systems, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to produce clear paperwork.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, body components and systems related to heavy duty and light duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose gasoline, diesel and CNG systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles.
• Maintain and repair Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus vehicles and equipment.
• Support coworkers in safe, efficient maintenance and repair work.
• Complete all required paperwork timely and concisely.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA.
• Utilize vehicle computer electronics to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform repairs using Factory Service Manuals.
• Maintain high standard of ethics and dependability.
