FedEx Freight is seeking a Mechanic/Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of diesel tractors, trailers, forklifts and related equipment. You will use heavy equipment experience or diesel mechanic training to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.

This role requires safe operation, documentation, and ability to work with a team. Starting rate is $31.63 per hour, with incentives such as ASE certifications and tuition reimbursement.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of vehicle maintenance experience or completed FedEx Freight Apprentice Program with satisfactory performance.
• ASE Certifications and Class A CDL preferred.
• Must possess necessary tools to perform tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Performs preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Performs basic diagnostics and adjustments for safe operation.
• Documents maintenance in writing and electronically.
• Conducts safety inspections and performs paint/body work as required.
• Work independently or with team to complete duties.
