Job summary

Zipcar is seeking a Fleet Coordinator in San Francisco to guide field teams in keeping our vehicle fleet ready for members. You will coordinate repair life cycles, work with ABG partners and vendors, and ensure timely updates on the platform.

The role starts in-office with potential for hybrid work. Ideal candidates have strong vendor relationships, fleet or logistics background, and experience with ticket-based workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship building skills.
• Experience working with third party vendors.
• Experience with on-line ticket-based workflows is strongly preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
• Background working with fleet is strongly preferred.
• Logistics background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the repair life cycle of vehicles from issue to return to service.
• Update Zipcar’s work management platform daily with ETA, notes, and closed tickets.
• Secure in-fleet units from ABG, including requesting units, branding, key tethering, and up-fitting.
• Schedule de-fleets for disposal.

As Fleet Coordinator, you will use technology to guide your team in the field to ensure our fleet of vehicles are ready for our members. Vehicles should be clean, in good condition, and ready to drive – this all depends on you. You will work internally with your team as well as externally with our various vendors to keep everyone on time, organized, and where they need to be. What You'll Do:Coordinating the repair life cycle of our vehicles from the time they require repair to the time they go back on the grid for rent.
