Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Fleet Coordinator in Philadelphia to guide the field team and ensure vehicles are repair-ready, clean, and available for rental. You will work with internal teams and external vendors to keep operations on time and efficient.

The role involves updating Zipcar’s platform with repair progress, coordinating de-fleets and disposal, and occasionally assisting in-field tasks to keep the fleet moving for customers.

Qualifications

• Background working with third party vendors; logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the repair life cycle for vehicles and liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
• Update the work management system with ETA, notes, and ticket closure details.
• Assist with on-site vehicle movement, branding, and deployment planning as needed.
• Support fleet availability to customers by coordinating and executing field tasks.

As a Fleet Coordinator, you will use technology to guide your team in the field to ensure our fleet of vehicles are ready for our members. Vehicles should be clean, in good condition, and ready to drive – this all depends on you. You will work internally with your team as well as externally with our various vendors to keep everyone on time, organized, and where they need to be.

What You'll Do:

Coordinating the repair life cycle of our vehicles from the time they require repair to the time they go back on the grid for rent. This includes working with ABG supply chain partners, third party maintenance vendors, third party shuttling companies, towing vendors, and impound recovery facilities Be hands on in helping keep the fleet available to customers, moving vehicles around the lot and going into the field occasionally to assist with work tickets. Updating Zipcar’s platform (work management system) daily with ETA’s of when vehicles will be complete, any pertinent notes to the repair process, and closing out the ticket loop once complete. Securing in-fleets units from ABG --- which includes requesting units, branding, key tethering, and up-kitting Scheduling de-fleets units for disposal Be hands on in helping keep the fleet available to customers, moving vehicles around the lot and going into the field occasionally to assist with work tickets
