Job summary

Zipcar is seeking a Fleet Coordinator in San Francisco to guide field teams and ensure our fleet is clean, in good condition, and ready to drive for members.

You will coordinate repairs with ABG supply chain partners and vendors, update the work management system daily with ETAs and repair notes, and manage fleet securing tasks such as branding and up-fitting. This in-office role offers potential for a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship building skills.
• Experience with third party vendors.
• Experience with online ticket-based workflows preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
• Experience with fleet is preferred.
• Logistics experience preferred.

• Update Zipcar's platform daily with ETAs, repair notes, and close out tickets.
• Secure in-fleets units, including requesting units, branding, key tethering, and up-fitting.
• Schedule de-fleets units for disposal.

Job description

As Fleet Coordinator, you will use technology to guide your team in the field to ensure our fleet of vehicles are ready for our members. Vehicles should be clean, in good condition, and ready to drive - this all depends on you. You will work internally with your team as well as externally with our various vendors to keep everyone on time, organized, and where they need to be.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinating the repair life cycle of our vehicles from the time they require repair to the time they go back on the grid for rent. This includes working with ABG supply chain partners, third party maintenance vendors, third party shuttling companies, towing vendors, and impound recovery facilities

• Updating Zipcar's platform (work management system) daily with ETA's of when vehicles will be complete, any pertinent notes to the repair process, and closing out the ticket loop once complete.

• Securing in-fleets units from ABG --- which includes requesting units, branding, key tethering, and up-kitting

• Scheduling de-fleets units for disposal

The hourly rate for this position is $23/hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
