Job summary

Zipcar is seeking a Fleet Operations Associate to keep vehicles clean, maintained, and ready for members across the city. You may walk, bike, or use Zipcar to move cars to optimal locations, perform basic upkeep, and coordinate towing or repairs as needed.

You’ll serve on the Fleet Operations Team, represent Zipcar’s brand in the community, and support members with timely updates and smooth operations. This role requires adaptability, reliability, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Strong time management to juggle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Excellent communication with operations team to ensure vehicle status updates are provided.
• Flexibility to work 40-hour weeks including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.

As a Fleet Operations Associate, you will work all around the city as part of our Fleet Operations Team to ensure cars are clean, maintained and transport them to where they need to be for our Zipcar members. You’ll zip around by foot, bike, public transit or use a Zipcar to ensure our vehicles are ‘member-ready’ – this might mean changing a tire, filling the gas tank, cleaning, or helping to coordinate a tow or repair.
