Job summary

Zipcar, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to manage repairs from start to finish, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors. The role includes hands-on fleet work, daily fleet monitoring, and maintaining up-to-date documentation across systems to ensure vehicle availability for members.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repairs within partner fleet programs and track progress.
• Handle other fleet-related tasks as business needs change.

Job description

As a Fleet Coordinator , you will use technology, fleet management systems, and strong communication to help keep our vehicles safe, clean, in good condition, and ready for our members. You will coordinate with Fleet Associates, internal teams, and external vendors to identify and resolve vehicle needs, track work through completion, and support daily fleet operations. Priorities, goals, weekly targets, tools, and assignments may change based on business and fleet needs, so being organized, adaptable, and able to follow through is key to success in this role. What You'll Do: Coordinate vehicle repairs from start to finish, including scheduling work with internal teams and vendors, tracking progress, following up on delays, and ensuring vehicles are safely returned to member availability. Assist with hands-on fleet work when needed, including moving vehicles and completing or supporting field work tickets. Monitor fleet reports and systems daily to identify vehicles that need attention, including repairs, recalls, vehicle holds, high-idle vehicles, and other availability concerns. Support vehicle in-fleets, de-fleets, moves, and other fleet needs, including vehicle preparation, documentation, and coordination with internal teams.
