Ascendo-Resources is seeking an Equipment Compliance Specialist to support the compliance, safety, and operational readiness of commercial transportation equipment. Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in transportation, fleet administration, equipment compliance, safety, logistics, or related field.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to learn and navigate compliance, fleet, and transportation management systems.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate records for commercial transportation equipment.
• Review equipment documentation to ensure information is complete and current.
• Track vehicle inspections, registrations, permits, certifications, and expiration dates.
• Coordinate required equipment inspections and repairs.
• Review inspection reports and identify items needing corrective action.
• Communicate with drivers, contractors, equipment owners, and internal departments regarding compliance.
• Follow up on missing, expired, or incomplete documentation.
• Maintain electronic compliance records and update equipment information in internal systems.
• Ensure equipment meets company, federal, state, and local requirements.
• Assist with audits by gathering and organizing equipment documentation.
• Research compliance discrepancies and work toward timely resolution.
• Generate reports related to equipment status, inspections, documentation, and compliance.
• Escalate unresolved compliance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling operational and regulatory information.
• Perform other administrative and compliance-related duties as assigned.
