Job summary

Patriot Disposal is seeking a Claims Management Specialist to oversee the company's internal claims process across auto, liability, property, and workers' compensation claims. You will coordinate intake, documentation, and follow-up, serving as the central liaison among Operations, Safety, HR, Customer Service, and legal counsel to drive timely, cost-effective resolutions.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• 2–5 years experience in commercial auto, general liability, property damage, or workers’ compensation claims.
• Experience with carriers, TPAs, brokers, or legal counsel preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary internal contact for reported incidents and claims.
• Coordinate intake, documentation, and submission to insurers or TPAs within required timeframes.
• Gather evidence and assist investigations to build factual summaries for adjusters and leadership.
• Coordinate vehicle/equipment damage estimates, repairs, and subrogation information.
• Manage workers’ compensation intake, status updates, and return-to-work arrangements.
• Prepare routine reports on claim frequency, severity, cost, aging, status, and trends.
