Patriot Disposal is seeking a Claims Management Specialist to oversee the internal claims process for commercial auto, general liability, property damage, and workers’ compensation. You will coordinate intake, investigation, documentation, and reporting while serving as the liaison among safety, operations, HR, customer service, fleet, and legal teams.

The role emphasizes timely resolution, cost control, and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Two to five years’ experience handling commercial auto, general liability, property damage, or workers' compensation claims.
• Experience with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, brokers, medical providers, or legal counsel preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping and claims practices.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with claims management or telematics systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary internal point of contact for reported vehicle accidents, injuries, and liability or property damage claims.
• Review incident information and submit claims to carriers within required timeframes.
• Enter and maintain accurate claim details in claims management systems.
• Coordinate investigations with safety and operations; gather evidence and documentation.
• Prepare summaries and documentation for adjusters, leadership, and legal counsel.
• Track claims from notice to closure and report on status and trends.
