Job summary

Cox Fleet, the unified fleet services brand of Cox, is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist II to join the Accounting team in Cherryville, NC. This role focuses on accurate billing, VMRS coding, and efficient communication with providers and team members.

Responsibilities include invoicing audits, PO inquiries, rebills for Roadside and TMCare, and maintaining workflow accuracy. Strong communication and a background in automotive/fleet settings are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a combination including higher education or related certification.
• Experience in the automotive industry or fleet management is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• VMRS coding and costing of invoices, and auditing invoices for accuracy.
• Respond to PO line inquiries and handle overflow calls.
• Contact service providers regarding invoice discrepancies or inquiries.
• Index invoices into the workflow system.
• Process rebills for Roadside and TMCare services.
• Drag and drop invoices into appropriate events within the system.
• Execute TMCare resets as applicable.
• Determine and mark invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).
• Undertake additional duties as assigned within Billing.
