Job summary

VIP Auto Accessories is seeking an Automotive Technician for fleet maintenance to service a diverse fleet, including vans and service trucks. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues with advanced tools, and ensure safety standards are met while maintaining clear customer communication.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of repair experience, ASE certifications preferred, and a strong focus on quality. A valid license is required, with a CDL a plus, and personal tools are necessary.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on automotive and/or diesel repair experience.
• ASE/Manufacturer Certifications preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills with modern diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and engine repair.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus.
• Ability to work independently.
• Customer-first mindset and pride in delivering quality work.
• Must provide personal tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles (light/medium duty).
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Complete inspections and ensure safety/compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate with customers.
• Coordinate with scheduling to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime.
• Recommend proactive maintenance strategies to avoid future issues.
