Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. The role requires handling DOT-compliant tasks, operating standard and manual transmissions, and using diagnostic tools. You will work with a full set of personal tools and adhere to safety protocols.

Applicants should have automotive mechanical experience, be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, and possess or be willing to acquire required hand tools. Excellent reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools Class A/B or A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets DOT requirements for the job assignment and performs maintenance tasks as directed.
• Operates standard/manual transmission and power tools in daily duties.
• Ensures safety and proper PPE use; reports to work regularly and on time.
• Works in a dynamic environment with varying shifts and overtime as needed.
