Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. The Automotive Technician will maintain a diverse range of equipment including delivery vehicles, heavy‑duct on‑road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers.

Propulsion systems include diesel, gasoline, and alternative technologies such as compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, propane, hybrid, and electric in some locations. Available shift: Sunday-Thursday 6pm-2:30am.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or legal work authorization
• Experience with multiple vehicle systems and diagnostics
• Possesses required hand tools and ability to maintain them

Responsibilities

• Meet DOT requirements for the job assignment
• Operate vehicles and manual transmissions
• Use power and pneumatic tools
• Maintain and inspect fleet equipment
