Job summary

UPS is seeking an automotive technician to maintain a diverse fleet including delivery vehicles and heavy-duty tractors. The role involves diagnosing and repairing hydraulic brakes, electrical and engine control systems, with various propulsion types. 2nd or 3rd shift options are available at different locations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on automotive experience, owns necessary tools, and can lift up to 70 lbs. CDL preferred; full-time shifts are 8–10 hours, 4–5 days per week.

Qualifications

• Current automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and PC.
• Owns a full set of personal hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet DOT requirements for the job.
• Operate and troubleshoot diesel and electric vehicles.
• Repair UPS diesel and electric vehicles and ensure regular maintenance.
