Job summary

UPS is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will maintain a diverse range of vehicles, including delivery vans, tractors, and trailers, across various drive systems and technologies. You must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shifts depending on location needs.

The role requires hands-on diagnostics, tool usage, and adherence to safety protocols. A state license and tool set are essential, with CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Active state-issued driver's license.
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts.
• Possess the hand tools required to perform the job.
• Class A/B CDL (CDL) - Preferred.
• Dependable with regular and timely attendance.
• Ability to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) usage as required.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements for the job assignment.
• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently during the workday.
• Sits infrequently as required.
• Operates standard and manual transmission.
• Operates power and pneumatic tools.
