Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team at our Atlanta facility on Pleasantdale Road. You will maintain a diverse range of vehicles—from delivery vans to heavy-duty tractors and trailers—using diesel, gasoline and alternative propulsion systems.

This role requires troubleshooting and maintenance of hydraulic brakes, electrical systems and engine controls, with shifts on 2nd or 3rd rotation.

Qualifications

• Current automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and PC.
• Possesses full set of hand tools.
• Class A/B or A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements for the job.
• Frequent bending, squats, climbing and walking during the day.
• Operates standard and manual transmission vehicles.
• Uses power and pneumatic tools in daily tasks.
