Job summary

SJRC Texas is seeking a Fleet Manager in Bulverde, TX to oversee maintenance, repairs, and tracking of our fleet and facility assets. The role blends hands-on field work with administrative duties to keep vehicles safe, compliant, and reliable.

You will coordinate inspections, maintain service history, manage parts and tools, report on asset condition, and work with vendors to ensure regulatory compliance and cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proven experience in facilities or fleet maintenance.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge applicable to fleet vehicles and building systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and digital record keeping.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections, maintenance and repairs of SJRC owned and leased fleet vehicles.
• Coordinate and perform minor repairs and safety inspections.
• Respond to urgent fleet issues, including breakdowns and towing coordination.
• Maintain asset inventory and service history; report on asset condition and utilization.
• Coordinate with external vendors/contractors for specialized repairs or inspections; monitor vendor performance.
• Order and maintain stock of commonly used maintenance parts and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
