Job summary

The City of Fort Worth is seeking a Management Analyst I in the Property Management Department to support the Fleet Division with budgeting, forecasting, and systems analysis. The role requires strong analytical abilities and the capacity to translate financial data for City executives and the public.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• No previous experience required.

Responsibilities

• Daily reconciliation of fuel inventory, including resolving transaction errors.
• Processing of forms related to vehicle changes and updates in the Fleet Management System.
• Monitor and process new toll tag requests and monthly internal billing for toll tag expenses.
• Participate in the development, analysis and formulation of the Fleet Services annual budget.
• Prepare financial forecasts and identify possible budget overruns; coordinate with upper management.
• Assist in the preparation of departmental budget presentations.
• Participate in special projects including research of existing and new programs and services.
• Conduct benchmark analysis and communicate results verbally and in writing.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
