City of San Antonio’s Fleet Operations & Maintenance division seeks an experienced analyst to identify and implement business and operational efficiencies across divisions.

Under direction, the role operates between public agencies and private sector partners, providing data-driven recommendations and assisting in budget preparation. Strong data analysis and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years of business or project analysis experience.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates the efficiency of current and new programs and implements program changes.
• Gathers, compiles, reviews, and analyzes data for performance metrics analysis for the Building and Equipment Service Department.
• Monitors current and new programs for efficiencies and effectiveness based on performance metrics data.
• Review output reports from the fleet management system and analyze for patterns and trends to make recommendations for improvements.
• Conduct a comparative analysis on the cost of providing services and compare to peer cities.
• Identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes functional and technical needs and requirements.
• Analyzes and interprets data to inform strategic decision‑making.
• Develops strategic plans that align with department goals and objectives.
• Assists in the preparation of the annual departmental or divisional budget.
• Presents detailed business cases, process models, and system workflows.
• Oversees the implementation and integration of new systems and technologies.
• Monitors project progress, identifies risks, and implements mitigation strategies.
