Job summary

Atlas Toyota Material Handling in Minnesota is seeking a full-time Fleet Account Manager to advise customers on optimizing fleet performance, utilization, and total cost of ownership of their material handling equipment.

You will build strong relationships, collaborate with the sales team to grow business, manage fleet reporting and invoice workflows, and handle service communications for fleet customers. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule and a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or mechanical field, or a related field preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in fleet management, account management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cost analysis, budgeting, and asset lifecycle management.
• Excellent customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in material handling or related industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer forklift fleets, including fleet utilization, maintenance performance, and cost management.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing proactive fleet management support and addressing customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify growth opportunities and support new business development efforts.
• Conduct business with sincerity, honesty, and a customer-first mindset.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and fleet management programs.
• Utilize company and vendor technology platforms to monitor fleet performance and support customer reporting.
• Provide strategic recommendations to enhance the fleet management program.
• Manage internal and external invoice workflows and ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate repair quotes, maintenance approvals, and service-related communications for fleet customers.
• Track and manage repair purchase orders and fleet-related expenditures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
