Job summary

LST Group, LLC is seeking a Flatbed Freight Team Lead in Salt Lake City. If you are the “go to” for flatbed loads, we want to talk to you. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of logistics experience and can sling freight all day, every day.

You will lead pricing, carrier relationships, and collaborate with our flatbed sales/operations team. The role offers a hybrid arrangement (3 days in office) with a competitive salary plus commission, paid weekly, plus health benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of logistics experience
• Ability to spot quotes for flatbed shipments and have carrier relationships for in-hand pricing
• Understanding of dimensions/equipment specifications
• Comfortable providing rates to customers and handling scheduling/ETA emails
• Able to collaborate with flatbed carrier sales/operations team
• Treat coworkers with dignity and respect

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing decisions for flatbed freight
• Develop and maintain carrier relationships for competitive quotes
• Provide timely rate information and respond to customer inquiries
• Collaborate with sales and operations on flatbed shipments

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of logistics experience and can sling freight all day, every day.

• 1. You can smell a double broker/shady carrier from a mile away


• 2. You can spot quote flatbed shipments and have carrier relationships to provide truck in hand pricing for superloads.


• 3. You have an excellent understanding of dimensions/equipment specifications.


• 4. You are comfortable providing rates to customers and answering customer emails regarding scheduling, ETAs, etc.


• 5. You are able and willing to work with an amazing flatbed carrier sales/operations team.


• 6. You like being treated with dignity and respect by your coworkers.
