Job summary

The National Bank of Arizona (NBAZ) is seeking an experienced Commercial Banker to join our Flagstaff team. You will focus on originating, underwriting, and managing commercial loans while deepening client relationships in the Flagstaff area.

Ideal candidates have a four-year degree in business, accounting, or finance and 2+ years of CRE/C&I lending, strong credit skills, and a proven network in AZ communities. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• A four-year college degree in business, accounting, or finance is strongly preferred with 2+ years of direct commercial lending in C&I/CRE, or other complex commercial lending.
• Knowledge of commercial loans, credit and related lending processes and procedures is required.
• Local candidates with knowledge of local networks and AZ communities are highly preferred.
• Strong credit analysis, documentation, and relationship-building capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of profitable commercial banking relationships.
• Establish, develop and maintain an aggressive prospect calling program targeting relationship opportunities.
• Interpret and implement commercial loan policies for a sound loan portfolio.
• Minimize problem credit and delinquencies through strong documentation and timely collections.
• Present loan recommendations to senior lenders or loan committees.
• Collaborate with the sales team to complete transactions.
• Other duties as assigned.
