Job summary

Chameleon Collective in San Francisco is seeking a Store Director to lead its flagship store. You will own the store end to end, from client experience on the floor to team leadership, operations and the numbers.

Represent the brand with exceptional service, product knowledge and a premium in-store experience. You will hire, train and coach the team, drive budgets and commercial action plans, and build a strong clienteling culture to grow loyalty.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of retail management experience
• Background in luxury or elevated, fast paced retail preferred
• Strong business acumen and comfort owning a P&L
• A real coach who builds and keeps a team
• Entrepreneurial, autonomous and hands on, with an eye for detail

Responsibilities

• Represent the brand on the floor, holding a high standard of service, product knowledge and store experience
• Hire, train, coach and develop the store team, with full appraisals and clear objectives
• Own the store budget and financial targets, monitoring performance and building commercial action plans to grow sales and manage costs
• Run all operations: visual merchandising, inventory and stock, cash management, internal controls, deliveries, maintenance and security
• Plan and execute store events, off site activations and local partnerships
• Build a strong clienteling culture and grow loyalty with the local client base
