Job summary

Origami Risk is seeking a Senior Conference Manager to own the complete operational execution of Elevate, our flagship Q4 user conference (~900 attendees), and other events supporting our sales and GTM teams. This role requires hands-on leadership across venue, vendor negotiations, budgeting, timelines and onsite logistics.

The ideal candidate has planned multiple large-scale B2B SaaS conferences, thrives on production details, and brings rigor to budgeting and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS event marketing or operations.
• Led at least 2 large-scale events (500+ attendees) end-to-end.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Budget ownership for events with budgets > $250K.
• Hands-on in venues, AV, catering, registration, shipping, production.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills for budgets and spend.
• Ability to measure business impact of events to senior stakeholders.
• Executive presence for presenting data to VP/C-level.
• Highly organized with multiple workstreams.
• Up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of Origami Risk's flagship events, anchored by Elevate and other events for our sales and GTM teams, from planning through onsite delivery.
• Negotiate and manage vendor and venue contracts, relationships, and performance across hotels, AV, catering, registration, and production partners.
• Own swag and promotional merchandise vendor management, sourcing, and fulfillment for Elevate, CAB, ABM, and trade show programs.
• Develops, tracks, and reconciles event budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and reporting financial performance to leadership.
• Builds and manages master project plans, timelines, and contingency plans to ensure smooth onsite execution.
• Oversees registration, attendance tracking, and event logistics, including shipping, materials, and attendee communications.
• Owns Origami’s events technology platform relationships (e.g., Swoogo, iCapture), including contract negotiation, tool selection, and ongoing optimization; partners with Marketing Operations to ensure clean integrations and data flow, and leads platform enablement across GTM teams.
• Manages sponsor relationships and deliverables to ensure a seamless, high-value sponsor experience.
• Supports Client Marketing by owning Client Advisory Board (CAB) event logistics, such as venue selection, contracting, and onsite logistics at Elevate and quarterly regional summits.
• Owns the event ROI measurement framework, partnering with Marketing Operations to track pipeline impact and guide investment decisions.
• Partners with sales leadership and communicates event strategy, performance, and recommendations to executive audiences.
