Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an Events Manager to plan and deliver B2B events, including third-party conferences, customer learning, enablement, and enterprise gatherings. You will own guest experience, front-of-house operations, vendor relations, logistics, and reporting, working with the enterprise events team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of event experience, including planning, onsite delivery and post-event evaluation.
• Strong background in B2B conferences, customer programs, or learning/enablement events.
• Experience coordinating venues, agencies, catering, AV and production partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver B2B events from planning through onsite execution, coordinating venues, registration, hospitality, and production.
• Build and maintain project schedules with milestones, owners, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Select and negotiate with venues, caterers, AV providers, and production partners, coordinating with Procurement and Legal.
• Own registration, check-in and guest communications in partnership with Marketing.
• Track budgets, process invoices, and complete financial reconciliation and reporting.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Marketing, Field Marketing, Sales and Product Marketing on audiences and content needs; coordinate with Design and Production for on-brand experiences.
• Work with Security and other partners on safety procedures, accessible event operations, and contingency planning.
• Review attendance and ROI, sharing findings to improve future programs.
