Morgan Stanley is seeking an Associate in Fixed Income Operations to support trade capture, reconciliation, documentation and settlement across proprietary and liquidity transactions. You’ll partner with Trading and Sales to control processes, escalate issues, and ensure accurate bookings in risk systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide first level control and escalation with Trading and Sales.
• Ensure trade bookings reflect in risk systems and tie out with the Counterparty.
• Verify that all trades are booked and confirmed as intended with internal and external parties.
• Serve as intermediary between Trading desk and Controllers, Settlements and Confirmations areas.
• Drive current controls and manage projects with IT and Projects Groups.
• Analyze and resolve ambiguous or complex issues with concrete deliverables.
• Understand risk implications of Fixed Income operations.
• Support U.S. Treasury Auction process and reporting.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across the business unit.
• Escalate issues promptly to trading desk and Operations senior management.
