Job summary

Morgan Stanley Investment Management Operations is seeking a highly motivated Fixed Income Trade Support expert to join the Public Markets Middle Office in Boston, MA.

This role serves as a day-to-day point of contact for front office stakeholders, ensuring smooth end-to-end operational support across the fixed income trade lifecycle, governing strong control frameworks, and timely issue resolution across trade capture, confirmations, settlement, cash/position reconciliations, and key lifecycle

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in fixed income trade support or middle office operations.
• Experience supporting front-to-back workflows from execution through settlement and reporting.
• Strong understanding of fixed income markets, FX products, and lifecycle events.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to PMs and traders across asset classes, ensuring timely processing from execution to settlement.
• Oversee trade lifecycle controls, booking quality, and front-office readiness; resolve workflow issues promptly.
• Monitor cash/positions, breaks, valuation flags, and settlement fails; escalate material risks as needed.
• Contribute to procedures, playbooks, and training; support change initiatives and platform enhancements.
