Job summary

Dysart Unified School District is seeking a Fixed Asset Technician (Purch/Proc) to maintain inventory control and oversee fixed asset tracking across the district.

You will log equipment, track depreciation, coordinate barcode tagging, and ensure retirement of assets in compliance with district and state standards.

The role requires attention to detail, data entry in the finance system, and collaboration with the Purchasing Administrator.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with fixed asset tracking and inventory control.
• Proficiency in Excel and basic database entry.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle, depreciation, and tagging.

Responsibilities

• Log new equipment into Fixed Assets module.
• Review requisitions to ensure assets are coded correctly.
• Track depreciation schedules and perform reconciliations.
• Coordinate barcode tagging for capital assets.
• Support asset retirement and surplus processes.
• Maintain asset controls and district/state compliance.
• Communicate with staff and vendors.
