Carrix, Inc./SSA Marine, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager, Fixed Assets to lead global fixed asset accounting and capitalization governance across a multi-entity organization.

You will manage a team of accounting professionals and partner with senior leadership on capital investments and infrastructure projects. This role oversees asset additions, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliations, drives month-end close, maintains internal controls, and coordinates consolidated fixed asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience including fixed asset accounting and capitalization in a complex, multi-entity environment.
• 3+ years leading accounting or finance professionals.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, capitalization policies, fixed asset accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with consolidated financial reporting and intercompany accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel; experience with Blackline and Hyperion.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and coach a team of accounting professionals in fixed asset accounting.
• Maintain capitalization policies and governance standards across the organization.
• Oversee fixed asset activities across the organization, including depreciation and reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close for fixed assets.
• Ensure intercompany and related-party fixed asset transactions are properly handled.
• Coordinate consolidated fixed asset reporting and related analyses.
• Develop fixed asset internal controls and ensure compliance.
• Oversee fixed asset audit activities with internal and external teams.
• Analyze complex transactions to support accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with leadership to support capital projects and CIP transfers.
• Review CIP activity and transfer completed projects to service.
• Present capitalization metrics to senior leadership.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve fixed asset processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
