Confidential Company seeks a Director of Fixed Assets to lead fixed asset and lease accounting under US GAAP and ASC 842. You will oversee capitalization, depreciation, CIP, and asset verifications, while driving process improvements and automation.

You will develop the team, partner with stakeholders, ensure accurate monthly closes, and coordinate with external auditors. The role requires strong leadership and extensive experience in fixed assets and lease accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 5+ years of fixed asset accounting experience with leadership.
• Experience with lease accounting and ASC 842.
• Experience with ERP systems and fixed asset accounting software.

Responsabilités

• Direct fixed assets accounting including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
• Oversee month-end close for fixed assets and related journal entries.
• Maintain fixed asset subledger and integration with the general ledger.
• Lead lease accounting activities and ASC 842 compliance.
• Develop accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Partner with external auditors and internal stakeholders on asset matters.
