Job summary

Atlas Search in New York is seeking a FIX Connectivity Support Analyst to join a client-facing team responsible for keeping trading connections up and running. You will split time between production support, client onboarding, and technology projects.

Responsibilities include serving as the main contact for clients and internal teams on order routing and FIX connectivity, investigating issues to resolution, and onboarding new clients with FIX configuration and certification.

Qualifications

• 0–4 years in a technical support role.
• Comfortable on the UNIX command line (vi, grep, tail).
• Some exposure to FIX is preferred.
• SQL and Python skills are strongly preferred.

• Be the go-to contact for clients, sales traders, and internal teams on order routing, OMS, and FIX connectivity questions.
• Investigate production issues and work them through to resolution.
• Onboard new clients onto FIX, including setup configuration and session- and application-level certification.
• Turn client needs into the right configuration settings.
• Install, configure, and test FIX applications end to end, and maintain the UAT environments.
• Log and track bugs, change requests, and enhancements, and coordinate longer-term projects with other tech groups.

Our client, an electronic trading firm in New York, is hiring a FIX Connectivity Support Analyst. You’ll be part of a client-facing team that keeps trading connections running, splitting your time between production support, client onboarding, and technology projects.

What you’ll do

• Be the go-to contact for clients, sales traders, and internal teams on order routing, OMS, and FIX connectivity questions

Requirements

• 0 to 4 years in a technical support role
